WHAT IS JUNIOR TEAM TENNIS?
USTA Junior Team Tennis (JTT) brings together boys and girls to play singles, doubles and mixed doubles against other local coed teams (e.g. Bloomington, Richfield, Eastview). Junior Team Tennis is a competitive and fun opportunity to play tennis with friends in a team-based format outside of the school season.
Summer 2025 Lakers JTT Team Information
We are recruiting 5+ boys and 5+ girls to form the first ever Lakers JTT Teams.
Cost: $50-75 per player for up to 5 regular season matches.
Schedule: June 12- July 17 Regular Season. Sectionals held July 22-24th (participation in sectional tournament w/ additional registration fee)
Time and Location: Thursdays 1-3:30pm. Home: Linden Hills or Pershing park, Away: matches held at metro area courts within 30 min.
Match Format: Boys and Girls Singles, Boys and Girls Doubles, Mixed Doubles. 8-Game Pro-Sets. Opportunities to play 2-3 times on match day.
Practices: Will be held as Captain’s Practices to be arranged by the SW Varsity Girls and Boys Captains. To be held on Mon-Wed.
Coaches: USTA Safe Sport Approved coaches: Ryan Albu and Dan Kraft
Registration: Registration through the USTA to be arranged.
